北京中盾安全技术开发公司成立于1992年。中盾安全技术公司是公安部第一研究所出资设立的国有独资企业，注册资本1.8亿元人民币。中盾安全技术公司主要从事投资管理、技术开发、对外贸易、安全专用器材营销等经营管理活动。目前，已投资设立了十几家公司，涉及公安和社会公共安全行业内的安全检查、安全防范、证件证卡、警用器械、警用通讯等领域，年营业额过亿元。

COMPANY PROFILE
Beijing Zhongdun was formed in 1992 and is a state-owned enterprise solely invested and established by the First Research Institute of Ministry of Public Security. The Company’s registered capital is RMB 180 million Yuan. The main business of the Company covers investment management, technology development, foreign trade, and sales of security products. Up to now Beijing Zhongdun has invested to set up more than ten companies which are involved in the field of public security and social safety such as security inspection, security protection, specific documents and cards, police equipment, and police communication. The Company’s annual turnover exceeds RMB 100 million Yuan.
Beijing Zhongdun has passed the accreditation of ISO9001:2000 Quality Assurance System and received the “AAA Ranking of China Commercial Credit Enterprise” in the activity of China enterprise credit system authorized by Ministry of Commerce. The Company is engaged in the service for public security and social safety and has the first class security protection engineering certificate, as one of the directors of China Security Protection Industry Association and one the deputy directors of Beijing Security Protection Industry Association. The Company is one of the designated manufacturers of the readers for the second-generation residence ID card and the manufacturer of the commercial code product, as well as a high-tech enterprise in Haidian district, Beijing.
Using the strong scientific research capability of the First Research Institute of Ministry of Public Security, Beijing Zhongdun introduced the following products to the customers in the brand name of “ShenDun”: X-ray security inspection equipment， TV surveillance and burglar alarm, mobile communication, command and control console series, police security protection equipment, various cards and readers/writers. These products not only posses great proportion in the domestic public security and social safety markets but are also exported to USA, Russia, Europe, Brazil, South Africa, Hong Kong and Macau.
