遇有火警时，根据箱门的开启方式，按下门上的弹簧锁，销子自动退出，拉开箱门后，取下水枪拉转水带盘，拉出水带，同时把水带接口与消火栓接口连接上，拔动箱体内公里壁的电源开关，把室内消火栓手轮顺开启方向旋开，即能进行喷水灭火。
